As you can see he's quite a ham -- he loves attention and will stop at nothing to get it. He's a real barrel of laughs. When we first moved into our new house, Max and I used to watch and smell him through the window. That cat was always outside curled up in the chair on the back porch, except when Polly or Master went outside, then he'd talk with them and rub up against them. After a few months, his dedication and sucking up paid off and Master finally let that gray and white fur ball in the house. What did he do? He jumped right up and flopped down in the middle of the bed like he owned the place. And then we were three.

While the last thing I needed was yet ANOTHER cat companion, Panda Kitty has turned out to be a lifesaver. He likes playing with Max and that keeps him off my back. Plus, Panda is not "slow" like that other cat, if you get my gist. He does have a reckless disregard for pretty much anything in his path, but he's a cool cat -- a cat you can really hang with.

Max

I used to get pretty lonely when Polly and Master were at work all day. So one day they brought me home a cat-panion. Well, this is really not the type of companionship a cat needs. Max -- that's his name -- is a little "slow". He likes the good life and has a foot fetish. He likes to pick fights -- I think it's because he is knows I'm the favorite and he's jealous. Well, I have to admit that I instigate him sometimes to get him in trouble. He's taken this new liking to peeing in the corner of the room that's undergoing renovation. This cat is not very refined, as you can see by the picture. Here he is showing off his wares -- or what used to be his wares. Maybe he doesn't know that they are gone!

Oskar I am

So this is me just hanging out next to Polly's computer while she works. In case you hadn't figured it out, as you can plainly see, I am a CAT. I pretty much like to spend my time wherever Polly is. ... I've been with Polly and Master for 4 years -- that makes me 7 1/2. We used to live in a small house, but a few years ago we moved to a bigger house. I spend all my time in the house except when I find a hole or open door, then I run outside and revel in the grass until Polly or Master bring me back in the house SQUEALING!!

Who I am

This is my first blog ever. My name is Oskar and I was born and raised in Northern California. My kittenhood was uneventful. After 3 years of living with Yank and Hannah, they took me to an animal shelter because Hannah got real sick. After doing 3 somber months in a tiny wire-walled kitty prison, Polly and Master came and visited me and they took me home to the most marvelous cat haven known to cat. Life has been pretty wonderful ever since ....
